From the Vomit won't categorize themselves as any particular kind of metal. They can only refer to the music sounding like a mix between classic Heavy Metal with a touch of Melodic Death, Thrash and Black metal. Some of the Major influences for the band members include Slayer, Death, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Pantera, Six Feet Under, Cannibal Corpse, Carcass and Old Sepultura.
